Lance, I still havent recieved any pics or further information on this pump.. I am an "interested party" who contacted you,20 minutes after your first post.. Should I have made an offer to you for the information????.

Just got home from work and recieved these photos in my email, he wants $1500. I recieved 11 inquiries about this pump & everyone wants to be first on the list. So, heres the deal, If the pump looks like its worth $1600 to you, I'll put the guy in touch with you, you buy it for $1500 and donate $100.00 to this website.

David Brewer, who lives northeast of Birmingham, Alabama, contacted me last week about his pump.

I told him I'd pay him the $1,500 if he delivered it or shipped it to Ohio.
He said he was going to Louiville and might be possibility, but then canceled out.

Evidently, he's been playing Lance, myself, and who knows who else.

He emailed me this morning and said he was out of town, and the pump is still available. If you want it, contact him direct though the email address above, and definately pick it up in person...........

I don't know this seller at all and have not been contacted directly by him.

I don't see a problem with someone offering a pump for sale to multiple people at the same time. That is what happens with a classified ad. It appears that a couple potential buyers here responded to him that it was too far away or he would have to include shipping. It is his choice to offer it to other people.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems normal to offer it for sale until a deal is made that is satisfactory to both parties.

It was presented as a request for help, and an exclusive offer to purchase the pump, but apparently he made the same offer to several people. Its the fact that you do a good turn to help a guy out, and in the end he was just using you.

In My opinion: While I appreciate any information on a pump for sale,especially within a few hours from where I live,If someone doesnt own a pump,or has not been in contact with the actual owner of the pump,they should not offer it for sale.

There are so many people who play the middle man in these types of deals,that it ruins the interest...The proper thing to do is to give the information of the owner of the pump as a service to a potential buyer and back away from the deal....

If I know where a pump is for sale,and I know the owners phone number or information,I will pass it on and forget about it. I have sent emails to people in the past with informations about pumps for sale,and left it at that...
I would like to purchase this pump as I know many others would as well, but I want to talk with the actual owner and not the middle man...
When Lance posted this ad,I thought he was in contact with the owner of the pump.. I felt like I wasnt getting the information,or a fair opportunity to make a deal on it. Now I understand that there are too many middle men involved and I dont even want to mess with it anymore.
