The guy I bought the pump from had it made. Don't know where or how but he got an original from somewhere?? Not sure why there was only one but that's all I got when I bought it. ------------------ Chuck Signs Wanted: Sunset, Clipper, Habor, Indian, Powerlube, Beacon, Sinclar Aircraft

Looks like it had the bronze style nozzle holders on it originally.
I never seen a bronze one, I have a cast iron repop, I think they are making aluminum ones right now.
I have the valves that I made (aluminum billet) that go in the top of the missing fatter tubes.

I have never seen a bronze one either but I guess you can pour them in any thing you want. They are casting them in pot metal now. What does billet really mean? Is it just that it was machined from a solid chunk? ward

Billet is usually carved from solid..although an extrusion can be made eliminating a lot of machining in some instances. Also billet could be of modular construction, pieces bolted or pressed together.

I dont mean to be an idiot but I still do not get it. If it can be extruded or machined what is it that makes it billet and not just aluminum is it the alloy?

Couldn't believe what this twin sold for this past weekend and the hammer price did not include the 20% buyer's preminum. I'm sure the couple who purchased my twin a few months ago are quite happy right about now. http://cgi.liveauctions.ebay.com/ws/eBay...0199737585&rd=1 [This message has been edited by Hemibird (edited 03-11-2008).]
