Was there ever any design/brand of colors that used a burgundy (or some what close) and maybe a yellowish cream (again somewhat close) on a gas pump I have a gb 176 that I'm going to redo and set infront of our 1890s home and being almost all the parts will be repo from poor condition I can do it up any way I like Hope I can find something that will go good with these colors

Early 1950's Phillips 66 gas pumps had a maroon base. That is the way my Bowser 585 is restored.

Would love to see a visible door in these colors. As this would match the house very nice The decals on the skin. Is there a place that make this and a burgundy or think this is air brushed?

I get my decals and globe first then take them to my local auto paint store. I have them match it in single stage enamel. I find single stage to cover well and when clear coated, after a day to flash out, remains very durable for inside or out. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Maybe you could do Sinclair or Shell but older colors, Martin Purple is darker and 50s. I do think Gilmore would look good, maybe tweaking the decals to be a darker red?

Check out the Great Old Pics on this site. Chapter 1461 and seven pictures down will show you the paint design for Gilmore Visibles. With that info, you should be all set. Some guys don't realize how much info is available by reviewing these picture albums. Regards, Paul
