It's page 1461 if you're logged in, 990 if you're not. Never heard chapter used before. Regardless, the photo referred to has been cropped so many times anyways, its small and blurry. A simple Google of 'Gilmore gas station' will bring up that photo and many others you could use for reference. The Farmer's Market in LA has a retro gas station there that most would say are the colors to go for.
Gilmore used a V shape/chevron for the design, with colors red & cream (white with a hint of yellow). Judging by their signs and advertising, the red has always been the same. I've never seen/owned anything with a darker red/maroon/burgundy.
Personally, I wouldn't paint the pump to match the exact colors of the house. Do you want it to stand out? or be camouflage with the house?
