Showed a friend a picture of my minuteman and he questioned why the single hole at the top? I've never thought about it honestly. Why is this? How was this sign originally displayed? I've gone back and every Minuteman I can find has this single hole at the top, no other mounting holes. Thanks

Thanks for the photo! If that's the case it seems like holes at least at 3 and 9 o'clock position would hold it more secure.

they went in the curb stand that randy's photo shows. i believe some of the early conoco maps show it well. found a few of those curb stands awhile back but i think i stashed them away somewhere.

Thank you both! Never seen one. Must be pretty rare. Seems it would also be mounted at 3 and 9 o'clock position but what do I know lol

All 25.5"Minuteman signs had only one hole at the top, including the Ethyl signs. The 30" red Rifle version has 4 holes in it. Some of these signs hung from hangers at the stations.
