I have the opportunity to purchase my first Wayne 60 gas pump. The seller tells me that all the parts are original, except for the globe, face plates, sunburst and panel retainer keys.
Unfortunately, the ID Tag is missing, so I'm unable to determine exactly when the pump was manufactured.

Would it be possible to date the pump, or at least narrowdown the year of manufacture, using the serial number on the Veeder-root computer?

There is also a detail on this particular pump that has me a little puzzled. On virtually every Wayne 60 I've seen in period photos and online, the mounting screws for the nozzle receiver bezel are positioned horizontally, one on each side. However, on this pump, the screws are positioned vertically, with one screw at the top and one at the bottom of the Nozzle.
What this change made during a particular production period? Could the vertical arrangement of the nozzle receiver bezel help identify or narrow down the production year of this Wayne 60?

Here some pics of the pump. Please let me know what you think. Does everything look correct to you on this pump? Is there anything that looks unusual or out of place to you?

Thank you
