I doubt it is 1870s, it is probably more like 1900-1905. Who is the manufacturer, can't read the printing? Jack Sim Author, Gas Pump Identification Book

It was made by the New York Oil Cabinet Co. It's in great shape, very sturdy and well maintained. I have the item available for sale, and would happily entertain offers. We're located in Northern Wisconsin....we can arrange a pick-up here or perhaps meet a buyer part-way. We're frequently in the Minneapolis area. Please email us at redshed@gmail.com. Thank you so much for your info.
