Jack,
That's incredible! Those signs are great - I can't believe they're still up! Thanks for the great pics!

From Vermonter: ------- Heres my contribution to FATW. Its an old Kendall station in Livonia NY where I grew. Thanks for posting the pic. I no longer have the patience for photobucket. John (Vermonter) John, That station is really unique! The notice on the door, along with its current state of repair, makes me think it's either going to be auctioned or demolished. This building is DEFINITELY worth saving. It's probably a steel-frame building that could be easily moved If not, the panels and glass could be saved. Notice the red lettering and stripes in the porcelain. Is there any chance anyone in the area could try to rescue this one? Wes

We knocked on doors but no one was home... We really wondered what kind of treasures could have been INSIDE those buildings... It bothered me the rest of our vacation!

Wes, I was visiting my mother and as I was driving out of town, I thought of taking the pic for the guys here, so I didnt stop. My mom lives right down the road so I can have her read the sign on the door. If it is being demolished, I dont know of anyone around there that would save it, but if someone here is interested, I would be glad to get any info they need.
