When I posted a topic about my "Country Filling Station", I was real surprised to meet Rod for the first time. He lives about 10 miles from me. He invited me over to see his shop, and I don't think I will ever be the same. It is out of this world. His web site was on last week. it is http://www.customfurniture.net/ati2de/. Rod has also made me a web site. customfurniture is the host site. Someone wanted to see the rest of the "country filling station, so here is the web site. http://www.cutomfurniture.net/les-shell/ Les

If Les was charging admission, and I was a 100 miles away, I’d change course and pay the fee (just to see the outside). Getting inside would be the frosting.
Many of us recall the country stores of years ago. Well Les has taken that concept a bit further and has a 50’s “Filling Station” in front of a “Country Store”. I mean this as a compliment!! You really have to experience this creation, walking in the front door is like passing into another time. If you ever get the opportunity to visit this unique wonderful creation, do it! Just remember to allow time, cause if you sit down with Les and a cup of coffee, you’re going to be there for a couple of hours. It just grabs and holds you.

WELL DONE, Les

Rod

Very clean display. The Model A pickup is especially nice.
