It's got plenty of room inside and should be great for hauling pumps,. It's a 1930 Sayers and Scovill ambulance, couldn't pass it up.

That is very cool. I would not paint it. Just do the mechanical items and make it functional.

The company that built it is still in business, I was going to put a Ford 300 6 in it but I think I'll keep the straight 8. They built limo's, ambulances and hearses. The hearse didn't have the leaded glass windows in the back. It still has all the medical cabinets inside in solid walnut. Needs some wood work in the roof but otherwise I may just drive it as is. You can't see it in the pics but it says Elkhart Police Department on the side in gold leaf. It's from Elkhart Wisconsin.
