Jason, I bet it is because of Mick's job. He's cool in the summer but hot in the winter. Haha

Well unfortunately the buyer of this button was not as comfortable with the condition as he thought he would be. I apologize that I did not explain it better but he assures me that there are no hard feelings, he is just used to nicer condition pieces.

So with that said, the button is back up for sale.

As far as condition goes, There are scratches on the surface, some that go down to the metal. I would guess that with a buff or wax the piece will be a lot more showable. It is already very usable, at least in my opinion, but just might not be the caliber of piece you would display next to perfect originals. For use in a garage or the barn, a perfect piece.

Here are a couple of close up shots of some of the worse spots.

Here is a comparable that just sold on e-bay the day I listed this one here that sold for $275.00 with a couple dozen rust spots. My button at my price is a great deal.

E-bay Button

$200.00 local pick up in the Chicago area preferred. Call Frank at 708-257-8539.

SOLD! Sign actually sold a few days ago but I wanted to make sure the new owner, an old gas member, was happy with it when he picked it up.

Thanks for the GREAT deal!! Smooth as it gets. Great sign, great price. The traffic on I-290 sucks, but other than that, this was a great deal. Thanks Frank!
