Gear Lube Dispenser Project Finished

I bought this gear lube dispenser on eBay a few months back and have been slowly bringing back to life. Described as having no gear lube in it, funny it arrived via UPS leaking that smelly **** everywhere. It left its mark in every UPS truck it traveled in.

After a few days of trying get clean out what was left inside a neighbor asked what I was doing and took care of the problem for me. He took it to a friend that works on jet engines. It came back two days bare metal and order free.

The rest of the story is in the pictures.

Before

After

The DELCO batteries are display batteries made without plates inside.

Nice pics, that's some serious eye candy on your link.

You have motivated me to get my unrestored gear lube dispenser out and get to work.

Thanks for sharing.

That's an awesome display and an awesome resto on the oil pump. I like the way you mounted the kiddie car to the wall next to the vette.
