Figured I would do a non-petro magazine post as well. I personally have collected Coca Cola ads for many years but have collected whatever has appealed to me. I have found them to be inexpensive and relatively easy to obtain. You also get the same thrill of the hunt when you find one that is really cool.
An example : I bought a small pile of magazines at the flea for fifteen bucks. They were from the teens and twenties, in ruff condition, missing the front and back covers. In that pile I found one of the better ads I have found over the years. A Coca-Cola ad from the early twenties with great color and subject. I am sure a rare survivor. I am using it as the start for this post.
