I have joined this group to find history of old gas stations. My fiancé and I are building a motor court, Petrol Motor Quart, based on old gas stations on Route 66 in Kansas. Our stations will be in the spirit of old stations. Once built, it will be fun to include history of our inspiration stations for each room. So any early history or fun facts about any of these stations would be helpful. Polly, White Eagle, DX, Deep Rock, Clark, Esso, Whiting Bros, Union 76, Chevron, Phillips 66.
