Which Sinclair globe? (1964) Johnnyrock70 Sun Aug 09 2026 09:21 PM I have a 1964 Bennett pump. I want to put a Sinclair globe in the hole at the top. What is the correct logo used in 1964? I see a couple of versions out there. I'm trying to keep it correct. Thanks

Use Jayhawk Oils signs mtrotnic Sun Aug 09 2026 06:51 PM Anyone know the story on the 24 x 36 inch painted tin Jayhawk oil signs?? I think all have flakey paint and or rust issues. Was it a manufacturer defect that the paint was universally an issue? Maybe all found together in damp environment? No mounting holes and I have yet to see one in an original frame. Thoughts or discussion on any of this??
Thanks

Wayne 60 Narrow Body Project fordlandia Sun Aug 09 2026 06:16 PM Looking to learn about how much this Wayne 60 Narrow Body pump project is worth. Bought it more than 20 years ago, disassembled. Have some small parts and hardware not pictured. Note: one large panel is original; the other is not. Would need to be replaced with a repro or a DIY copy.

Happy to answer questions. Thanks for your help.

Restored Wayne 60 bertone57 Sun Aug 09 2026 07:20 AM I have the opportunity to purchase my first Wayne 60 gas pump. The seller tells me that all the parts are original, except for the globe, face plates, sunburst and panel retainer keys.
Unfortunately, the ID Tag is missing, so I'm unable to determine exactly when the pump was manufactured.

Would it be possible to date the pump, or at least narrowdown the year of manufacture, using the serial number on the Veeder-root computer?

There is also a detail on this particular pump that has me a little puzzled. On virtually every Wayne 60 I've seen in period photos and online, the mounting screws for the nozzle receiver bezel are positioned horizontally, one on each side. However, on this pump, the screws are positioned vertically, with one screw at the top and one at the bottom of the Nozzle.
What this change made during a particular production period? Could the vertical arrangement of the nozzle receiver bezel help identify or narrow down the production year of this Wayne 60?

Here some pics of the pump. Please let me know what you think. Does everything look correct to you on this pump? Is there anything that looks unusual or out of place to you?

Thank you

New member BubbasTreasureFinds Sun Aug 09 2026 02:10 AM Hi everyone, I’m Brandon from Delaware. I’m new to collecting and selling vintage gas and oil items and recently picked up a few old safety/gas cans. I’m hoping to learn more about petroliana and the different manufacturers and brands. Looking forward to learning from everyone here.

Gilbarco Sidewalk Pump??? Gasoline4ever Sat Aug 08 2026 09:49 PM I have had this pump in the corner of my shop for years. I figured it was some kind of bulk oil pump. I looked on marketplace for pumps and someone is selling one just like it. They are saying it is a Gilbarco 82-1. Can anyone confirm this was an actual model and is that what mine is? If so what year do you estimate it to be made and the value of its current condition? Thank you for any information.
